• Read daily logs to stay in the loop on residents’ needs.
• Help plan and follow personal care routines for each resident.
• Keep an eye on your group of residents during your shift.
• Notice if someone’s acting different or feeling off and tell the boss.
• Jump on call bells or alarms to help residents right away.
• Say hi to residents, families, and visitors with a friendly vibe.
• Lend a hand with bathing, dressing, or bathroom needs.
• Get folks excited to join games, crafts, or group outings.
• Serve food and make mealtimes a good experience.
• Tidy rooms, make beds, and wash clothes when needed.
• Run or join fun activities for memory care residents.
• Keep the place calm and welcoming all shift long.
• Follow safety steps, like wearing masks or cleaning spills.
• Write quick notes about resident care for the team.
• Show up to team meetings and training to stay on point.

Requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED. CPR and First Aid certifications needed.

Experience
