Job Title
Construction – Billboard Installer
Responsibilities
- Hang vinyl ads on billboard structures
- Make repairs to sign faces, steel, trim, and lights
- Install billboard extensions and remove outdated ads
- Cut and prepare vinyls and flexes for display
- Paint and maintain billboard frames and posts
- Follow safety rules when climbing or using tools
- Keep tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order
- Snap clear “after” photos to show completed installs
- Join team safety meetings and training when scheduled
- Travel occasionally to nearby locations if needed
- Work outside in various weather conditions
- Tidy up the job site and keep the workshop organized
- Report job progress and complete work logs as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or GED is required
- OSHA 10-hour Construction safety course completion is necessary (or willingness to complete it)
Experience
No previous billboard experience is required.
Skills
- Can use basic hand and power tools safely
- Capable of reading basic blueprints or diagrams
- is capable of maintaining organization and handling tasks by themselves.
- knowledgeable about elevators, safety harnesses, and ladders
- fundamental computer skills (email, Excel, etc.)
Knowledge
- Familiar with general construction safety practices
- Knows how to spot and fix minor electrical issues
