Job Title
Winter School Counsellor
Responsibilities:
- Help kids with workshops from December 26 to 30.
- Keep an eye on students during outdoor activities.
- Run nightly group talks with a co-counsellor for an hour.
- Support students in dorms in the mornings and evenings.
- Watch over kids during assigned duty times.
- Step in to help students with any issues they have.
- Talk to the Winter School Director or Program Manager about student concerns.
- Help set up the program on December 24 and 25.
- Pitch in with cleanup on December 31.
- Join team training on December 24 and 25.
- Keep a positive, helpful vibe with kids and staff.
- Follow safety rules during all activities.
- Take part in training to get the program’s flow.
- Work with the team to make the experience fun.
Requirements:
Education
No formal schooling needed. Experience in education, youth camps, or leadership is a bonus but not required.
Experience
No experience needed. One to two years working with kids or in camps is helpful.
Skills
