The Role
Calling all hands-on, adventure-loving individuals! This summer, join their team for a role that combines physical activity, and logistical challenges. They are seeking someone native in either Japanese or English, with basic conversational skills in the other language being acceptable in order to effectively communicate between delivery drivers/suppliers and the team! Whether you’re a logistics whiz, a packing pro, or an inventory maintenance guru, they have an opportunity for you to learn and grow where no two days are the same!
Responsibilities
Logistics & Delivery
- Support the coordination of retail product logistics, including warehouse receiving, preparation, and delivery to multiple locations.
- Ensure accurate inventory handling and timely deliveries.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues to the supervisor or manager.
Picking & Packing
- Assist with the picking, packing, and transport of products to various locations.
- Help with the setup and pack-down of local retail spaces as needed.
In-Store Support
- Provide general support within retail stores, helping to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient store environment.
Winter Preparation
- Participate in pre-season activities including store setup, product receiving, invoice processing, and inventory organization for winter operations.
Workplace Standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment, including regular sweeping, dusting, and mopping of warehouse areas.
- Operate and help maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Collaborate closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to meet daily operational goals.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- A strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness for lifting, moving, and organizing stock.
- Attention to detail for accurate receiving, storing, and picking of items.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory management processes.
- Confidence using warehouse or inventory software (training provided).
Desirable
- Beyond fluency in English, language abilities in Japanese.
