Responsibilities
- Safely operate a school bus along assigned routes.
- Students should be picked up and dropped off on time.
- Check the car every day before and after the journey.
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents, teachers, and kids.
- Observe all traffic laws and the school’s transportation guidelines.
- Verify that every traveler is secure and under observation.
- Report any delays, mishaps, or mechanical issues as soon as possible.
- Keep the interior of your automobile neat and tidy.
- Use constructive methods to control student conduct.
- Take part in ongoing operational and safety training.
- Fill out the necessary documentation precisely and on schedule.
- When possible, assist with field excursions or activities that are chartered.
- Follow instructions for schedule updates and route modifications.
- As needed, provide assistance to students with special needs or limitations.
