VIA Rail Canada
This job isn’t for someone looking to sit behind a desk all day. If you’re the kind of person who likes working with your hands, being on your feet, and seeing the direct results of a good day’s work — you might want to stick around. VIA Rail Canada is hiring General Workers at their Montreal Maintenance Center, and this is more than just cleaning. You’ll be hands-on with the trains that carry people across the country — scrubbing them down, restocking supplies, and making sure everything’s in shape for the next trip. It’s full-time work, and you’ll need to be okay with rotating shifts — evenings, weekends, holidays, you name it. The work’s physical, sometimes outdoors, and no two days are exactly the same.
