Job Title
Forklift Operator and Produce Handler (Casual)
Responsibilities
- Big Forklift Operator: Run daily checks, load skips, operate intake lines, track waste, and clean equipment.
- Packing Team Lead: Guide crews, oversee carrot washing and grading, pack for retail, and help with shed cleanup.
- Small Forklift Operator: Move bins and pallets, stock cool rooms, supply packing stations, and run bagging machines.
- Tank Controller: Manage tanks, support grading and packing, and pitch in with cleaning or labouring.
- Produce Handler (Grader): Sort carrots by quality, keep hygiene high, and help with packing area tasks.
- Produce Handler (Packing Hand): Pack cartons and bags, check weights, run basic machines, and report maintenance needs.
- Follow safety rules to keep the shed secure.
- Work across sites, adapting to daily needs.
- Team up with mates to hit production targets.
- Keep the workspace tidy, sweeping floors or clearing debris.
Requirements
Education
No degree or certificate needed.
Experience
Experience in forklift or machine operation (license required for forklift roles); produce handling experience a plus.
