Responsibilities
- Carry building materials to different spots on site.
- Set up and take down scaffolding, ramps, and barriers.
- Help pour concrete and spread asphalt when needed.
- Keep an eye out for spills or hazards and clean them up.
- Assist with pipe fitting or alignment jobs.
- Direct cars and people around the work zone when asked.
- Clean up after work and take away leftover materials.
- Pass tools to skilled workers and help out where required.
- Follow daily site instructions from supervisors.
- Stick to safety rules and wear proper protective gear.
- Stay on task during shifts, even in tough weather.
- Pitch in with basic jobs and learn on the go.
- Handle physical work like lifting, bending, and moving things.
- Watch out for crew safety and speak up if something’s off.
- Help keep the site organized and safe for everyone.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
No certificate, degree, or diploma needed.
Experience:
Not required. Any past work in construction helps but isn’t needed.
