Responsibilities

  • Carry building materials to different spots on site.
  • Set up and take down scaffolding, ramps, and barriers.
  • Help pour concrete and spread asphalt when needed.
  • Keep an eye out for spills or hazards and clean them up.
  • Assist with pipe fitting or alignment jobs.
  • Direct cars and people around the work zone when asked.
  • Clean up after work and take away leftover materials.
  • Pass tools to skilled workers and help out where required.
  • Follow daily site instructions from supervisors.
  • Stick to safety rules and wear proper protective gear.
  • Stay on task during shifts, even in tough weather.
  • Pitch in with basic jobs and learn on the go.
  • Handle physical work like lifting, bending, and moving things.
  • Watch out for crew safety and speak up if something’s off.
  • Help keep the site organized and safe for everyone.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

No certificate, degree, or diploma needed.

Experience:

Not required. Any past work in construction helps but isn’t needed.
