Responsibilities

  • Run high-speed packaging machinery, troubleshooting mechanical glitches.
  • Handle product changeovers and CIP sanitation on can fillers.
  • Track packaging materials for usage and loss rates.
  • Log machine performance and join process improvement efforts.
  • Perform regular quality checks to meet specs.
  • Follow all company SOPs and safety rules.
  • Lift, stack, and rotate products up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in enclosed spaces with noise and vibration.
  • Climb ladders, operate forklifts or pallet jacks if certified.
  • Adapt to night shifts and potential weekend overtime.
  • Participate in hearing conservation programs.
  • Report issues and maintain a clean workstation.

Requirements

Education

Grade 12 diploma or equivalent (proof required); post-secondary an asset.

Experience

No prior experience required; mechanical aptitude preferred.

Qualifications
