Job Title

Housekeeping Attendant.

Responsibilities

• Collect keys, cleaning and tasks from the supervisor at the beginning of each shift.
• Clean guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
• Sterilize vacuum blankets, dust furniture and surfaces.
• Make mattresses, replace the sheet and fill toiletries and space supply again.
• Polish fixtures and Polish glass, mirrors and metal surfaces.
• Remove dirty plates and platters left in rooms or halls.
• Notify the maintenance crew of any necessary repairs or safety issues.
• Ensure all fire exits and stairwells are maintained free at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness in service pantries and public hallways.
• Dispose of garbage correctly and change trash liners.
  Assist guests with reasonable housekeeping-related demands.
• Spot-clean stains and spills on carpets or upholstery.
• Adhere to hotel regulations and regular operating procedures at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

Vocational training or certification in housekeeping or hospitality preferred.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel service is an asset.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
