As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security of people, property, and hospital property.
• Patrol critical areas of the CHUM, day, evening, and night.
• Conduct preventive security rounds according to established procedures.
• Manage secure access to entrances and exits.
• Intervene in emergency or conflict situations.
• Communicate with emergency services (police, ambulance, firefighters).
• Maintain a reassuring presence for healthcare staff and patients.
• Strictly enforce hospital security protocols.
• Perform any other job related duties.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk entire shift.
