Tractor Operator/Farm Hand

Responsibilities

• Drive tractors with GPS to plant and tend row crops like a pro.
• Keep broadacre farming jobs on track, from seeding to spraying.
• Set up and check irrigation systems to keep crops watered right.
• Jump in with general farm tasks when the site manager needs you.
• Give tractors and gear a good clean and check for wear and tear.
• Stick to safety rules to keep the farm running without a hitch.
• Monitor crops and report any dramas like pests or dry patches.
• Help with loading or moving gear around the property.
• Fix up fences or clear debris to keep paddocks in order.
• Work alongside the farm crew to smash daily targets.
• Handle small machinery like utes or quads for odd jobs.
• Keep irrigation channels or pipes clear and working.
• Lend a hand with seasonal tasks like harvesting or prepping fields.
• Log your work for the manager to keep things on the straight and narrow.

Requirements

Education

Experience
