Responsibilities

• Supervise seasonal workers during harvest and make sure safety rules are followed.
• Help train new staff and make sure inductions are completed.
• Keep records of pre-start checks and risk assessments.
• Fill in as needed for machine operators during breaks.
• Work with cane supply teams to manage daily transport and bin setups.
• Support site duties like watering, cleaning, and controlled burns.
• Be a point of contact on the ground, leading by example.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

Experience

• Previous farm or harvest experience is essential.
• Experience operating harvesters or haul-out machinery is preferred.
• Prior work in a team lead or supervisory role will help.

• Valid HR truck licence and driving experience.
