Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming items and route them to the right place
  • Track inventory as it moves in and out of hotel storage areas
  • Keep shelves organized and stock updated regularly
  • Flag slow-moving stock to avoid extra spending
  • Use the internal system to place and manage supply orders
  • Support with monthly and quarterly stock checks
  • Make sure storage areas meet safety and hygiene standards
  • Work closely with purchasing and kitchen teams to align needs
  • Handle deliveries in line with company procedures
  • Record damages or missing items during unloading
  • Ensure records match physical inventory
  • Assist team members who need support with supply requests
  • Stay alert to expiry dates and storage requirements
  • Maintain a clean and efficient working area
  • Help with basic training for new staff when needed

Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma required
  • Any certificate in stock control or supply chain is helpful

Experience

  • At least 1 year working in a similar role
  • Experience in hotel operations is a bonus

Skills

  • Organized and efficient with daily tasks
  • Comfortable with simple computer systems
  • Good at following processes and keeping things tidy
  • Can multitask without losing focus
