Job Title

Storekeeper Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Help with receiving new stock and checking delivery paperwork.
  • Place goods in storage areas and keep them easy to find.
  • Collect items for orders and prepare them for delivery.
  • Take part in stock counts and report any missing or damaged items.
  • Keep warehouse areas tidy and clear of obstacles.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles when needed.
  • Label items correctly before putting them on shelves or sending them out.
  • Keep an eye on warehouse tools and report if anything breaks.
  • Follow warehouse safety steps to reduce accidents.
  • Work with team members to meet daily goals.
  • Take on other tasks when asked by warehouse supervisors.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

High school certificate or equivalent

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of general work experience
  • 2  years of relevant experience in warehousing or logistics
  • Previous work in the Gulf region is an advantage

Skills

  • Can lift and move stock without difficulty.
  • Knows how to read and follow delivery instructions.
  • Understands how to keep track of stored goods.
  • Comfortable working with others in a team setting.
  • Pays attention to detail when handling goods.
  • Can follow verbal and written directions easily.

Knowledge

  • Knows how to handle goods safely and avoid damage.
  • Familiar with keeping storage areas clean and organized.
  • Understands what to do when stock numbers don’t match.
  • Has basic knowledge of warehouse equipment and safety gear.
  • Understands shipment labeling and packaging steps.
  • Can recognize when tools or equipment need repair.
