Located in Doha, Qatar, this role is on-site and full-time. The ideal applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the inventory is effectively checked, that the items are kept accurately, and that the hotel procurement rules are followed. Candidates should have a solid base in food security, stock management and previous experience working in four- to five-star hotels.

Storekeeper.
Responsibilities
- Receive, record, and dispatch all hotel goods and deliveries to their designated departments.
- Maintain accurate logs of stock movement and inventory levels.
- Operate the hotel’s procurement systems to place and track orders.
- Supervise all aspects of hotel central store operations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks, including spot checks and scheduled audits.
- Maintain control over issued items, verifying spoilage, transfers, and internal usage.
- Update recipe costing in line with new procurement prices.
- Input new beverage recipes into the Opera system and ensure integration with point-of-sale interfaces.
- Perform monthly yield tests for high-cost items such as meats, juices, and seafood.
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage and Culinary teams to monitor costs, waste, and efficiency.
- Approve operating equipment requisitions and ensure accountability in asset control.
- Conduct quarterly and annual food cost analysis for budgeting and forecasting.
- Lead market surveys for fresh produce and provide procurement recommendations.
- Raise alerts for deviations in cost-to-revenue ratios.
- Comply with all safety and hygiene regulations in handling food and beverage inventory.
- Provide support across departments in a team-driven environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Hospitality, or relevant vocational training
Experience
Minimum of 5–6 years in a similar role within a 4 or 5-star hotel
Skills
- knowledge of inventory management systems, such as Micros and Opera
- High correctness and meticulousness in data entering
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
- The capacity for time management and multitasking
- Teamwork and communication abilities
Knowledge
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards
- Expertise in recipe costing and menu pricing
- Working knowledge of hotel procurement systems
- Understanding of storeroom procedures and inventory documentation
- Ability to conduct market price evaluations for food products
- Awareness of hotel accounting practices and revenue tracking
