Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cookware
  • Keep kitchen floors and workstations clean and hazard-free
  • Clean garbage bins and replace liners regularly
  • Maintain cleanliness of silverware and glassware
  • Assist with clearing tables and returning items to storage
  • Organize kitchen storage rooms and ensure supplies are in order
  • Use and care for dishwashing machines and cleaning tools
  • Provide clean plates and utensils to restaurant staff as needed
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Report any missing or damaged items to supervisors
  • Support kitchen staff with basic preparation tasks when requested
  • Adhere to safe working procedures at all times
  • Complete assigned cleaning checklists during each shift
  • Take part in cross-training to support other roles if needed
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and complete shift duties on time

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

Valid health certificate is mandatory.

Experience

  • 1 year in a hotel or restaurant setting preferred.
  • Entry-level applicants encouraged if physically capable and reliable.

Skills

  • Ability to operate dishwashing and cleaning tools
