Responsibilities
- Work with engineers, IT teams, and analysts to acquire correct project data
- Develop reports, dashboards, and deadlines for internal and external usage
- Build Excel tools and summaries to support decision-making
- Translate data into presentations for senior stakeholders
- Oversee materials and equipment inventory tied to each project
- Ensure all reporting meets project governance requirements
- Maintain clear communication between technical contributors and leadership
- Identify areas where workflow or data processes can be improved
- Support budget reviews and cost assessments for in-progress tasks
- Use platforms like Jira or Smartsheet to monitor task progress
- Document every phase of project activity for review and compliance
- Handle reporting related to utility or infrastructure operations
- Assist with monthly updates, audits, and internal quality checks
Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related technical field
Experience:
At least 6 years in a project coordination or management role
Skills:
- Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and automation
- Proficiency with PowerPoint for communicating progress updates
- Excellent organizational and time management ability
- Comfortable analyzing large datasets and identifying trends
- Capable of handling remote team interactions efficiently
- Familiar with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
Knowledge
- Understanding of utility operations or project planning cycles
- Experience using platforms such as MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet
- Working knowledge of SQL or basic scripting tools (Python or VBA)
- Awareness of compliance standards like NERC/CIP is a plus
- Familiar with standard documentation for audits and project reviews
- Certifications like PMP or CAPM are preferred but not mandatory
