Pre-Prep Class Teacher

Responsibilities

• Use a fun and age-appropriate way to teach Foundation Stage to Year 4 students.
• Use current tools and technology for learning to make teachings more personal.
• Create a loving and inclusive classroom setting
• Monitor student development and communicate findings for employees and parents.
• Create lessons that strengthen the basic principles of science, mathematics, reading and writing.
• Work closely with other teachers to exchange material and techniques.
  Include computer, arts and physical education in your lessons.
• Participate in training sessions and staff meetings.
• To promote the culture of curiosity, simplicity and compatibility.
• Keep the latest teaching methods.
• Stay for speed with the latest teaching techniques
• Maintain lesson plans and student reports
• Help arrange school events and field excursions
• Uphold school principles, safeguarding policies, and teaching standards
• Contribute to co-curricular programs and clubs
• Support students emotionally and socially in their early years

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) or a degree with PGCE/PGDE.
• A Master’s qualification is considered an asset.

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in early years or primary education
• Experience with British curriculum preferred

Skills

• Ability to adapt lessons for different learning styles
• Strong classroom organization and planning skills
• Confidence with digital learning tools
• Good communication with students and parents
• Patience and empathy working with young learners
• A collaborative and team-oriented mindset

Knowledge

• Familiarity with FS to Year 4 frameworks
