Egis is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join their professional team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying high-quality decorative and protective coatings to various surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires adaptability to work in Dubai’s unique climate conditions while maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and removing old paint or wallpaper.
- Mix and match paints according to specifications and color requirements.
- Apply primers, paints, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Ensure proper coverage and finish quality on all painted surfaces
- Create decorative finishes such as faux painting, texturing, or stenciling when required.
- Inspect completed work for defects and touch up as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when handling paints and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and supervisors.
- Adapt painting techniques to accommodate Dubai’s climate conditions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in painting is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license for potential travel between job sites
- Safety certifications related to working with hazardous materials is a plus.
- Proven experience (2-3 years minimum) in professional painting.
