Responsibilities

  • Pack up finished goods on the production line with care.
  • Scan and slap labels on products to meet quality rules.
  • Spot safety issues and tell supervisors right away.
  • Stick to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards daily.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for clean work.
  • Lift and move items up to 25 kg as part of the job.
  • Run packing machines once you’ve got the training.
  • Shift products around the plant using a forklift (training included).
  • Check machines and gear for problems and report them.
  • Keep your work area neat to keep things running smoothly.
  • Log production numbers using simple computer programs.
  • Work with teammates to meet daily targets.
  • Show up for safety and job training when scheduled.
  • Pitch in on extra production tasks when the boss needs it.
  • Be on time and ready for every shift.

Requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent is a must. Any training in manufacturing or safety is a nice extra.

Experience

Best if you’ve got 2-3 years in packing, production, or running machines. New grads or folks with internships in similar work are welcome too.

Skills

  • Comfort with basic tech, like scanning or entering data.
  • Strength to lift 25 kg and handle repetitive jobs.
  • Sharp focus to get packing and labeling right.
