- Set up packaging machines and statistical scales for accurate code dates and weights
- Monitor equipment during operation to ensure consistent package quality
- Load bags and materials onto conveyors and adjust machine settings as needed
- Inspect product seals and dates to minimize waste and ensure compliance
- Perform basic preventative maintenance, such as cleaning knives, belts, and rollers
- Sanitize lines during product changeovers following safety protocols
- Inspect conveyor belts and scales before start‑ups and changeovers
- Troubleshoot common machine issues and make real‑time adjustments
- Record production data and complete daily logs accurately
