Online Tutor (Remote, Part-Time)
Responsibilities
- Join video calls with students through the Filo app.
- Help explain problems or topics in a clear, simple way.
- Adjust your pace and teaching style based on the student.
- Keep things professional, patient, and supportive.
- Report any technical or student issues through the platform.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not always necessary
Experience
- Prior tutoring is helpful, but new tutors are welcome
- If you’ve taught in a classroom, worked with kids, or helped friends study — that all counts
Skills
- Speak clearly and explain things simply
- Stay calm and focused, even if a student is struggling
- Be able to use your phone or computer to run the sessions smoothly
- Good English or another language (like Arabic, Hindi, or Chinese) is a plus
