Allied Universal
If you’ve worked in security before and want something with a bit of variety, there’s an opening in Mississauga, Ontario for a part-time Mobile Security Guard at Allied Universal. The role pays $18.15 an hour and runs on a continental 12-hour shift schedule either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM, depending on the rotation. You’ll be keeping watch outside a homeless shelter, mostly doing vehicle patrols, checking the area, and stepping in when needed. You’ll also need to report anything unusual, keep solid notes, and stay calm under pressure. To apply, you must be 25 or older (for insurance reasons), have a G Licence and a clean driver’s abstract, and hold a valid Ontario Security Licence. First Aid and CPR are also needed. This isn’t for someone looking to sit around—you need to be alert, mobile, and okay working outdoors.
