Responsibilities
- Make sure night shift production runs on time and within expected targets
- Confirm staff are at their stations and machines are ready before the shift begins
- Monitor production flow and step in if numbers begin to drop off
- Flag any delays or issues to appropriate departments and follow up
- Lead quick daily check-ins (DRB) to keep everyone aligned
- Keep track of Q-TIME standards and take corrective action if needed
- Record all quality concerns and make sure they’re passed along properly
- Oversee how the shift hands over responsibilities to the next team
- Check that the working environment meets health and safety expectations
- Keep an eye on cleanliness and line discipline
- Address employee issues or incidents and document them as required
- Maintain logs of performance, incidents, and equipment downtime
- Assist newer employees in understanding procedures or expectations
- Communicate clearly across different departments when coordination is needed
- Be available to adjust plans if there’s a sudden shift in production needs
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Degree from a university or college—fields like engineering or industrial technology are preferred
Experience
Experience welcome but not required—training will be available for capable candidates

- Able to lead a group during non-daytime hours
