Machine Operator
Responsibilities
- Set up and start packing machines for potatoes and onions.
- Watch lines to make sure products pack right and fast.
- Check weights and quality to hit specs every batch.
- Do quick fixes or adjustments to cut downtime.
- Spot machine glitches and call them in right away.
- Keep your area spotless for food safety rules.
- Fill out production sheets and quality logs accurately.
- Team up with coworkers to reach daily goals.
- Follow safety steps, like wearing PPE or locking out gear.
- Lift and load produce or boxes as needed.
- Switch between machines or lines when shifts change.
- Help with cleaning machines between runs.
- Report any product problems to supervisors.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends if busy.
- Pitch in on team training for new starters.
Requirements
Education

Experience
Previous machine operation in manufacturing or food processing preferred.
