Responsibilities

• Use and run the tractor trailer to transport goods and materials over long distances.
• Load and unload cargo, torping and secure safety processes.
• Conduct pre-tour, en Route and after-tour inspection of vehicle systems and equipment.
• Repair and regular preventive maintenance along the emergency road.
• Maintain accurate records of cargo, fuel consumption, distance travelled, and hours of service.
• Communicate with dispatch for trip coordination and updates.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Provide professional customer service and address client concerns.
• Drive individually or as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Secure permits and documentation required for international cargo routes.

Requirements

Education: Secondary school graduation certificate.
Experience: No experience required (training will be provided).
Licences: Class 1 or A Driver’s License, Air Brakes Endorsement.
