Responsibilities
- Drive light vehicles to deliver packages and personnel safely.
- Check vehicles daily to ensure they’re ready for the road.
- Get deliveries to customers on time, sticking to planned routes.
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel, and any issues.
- Help load and unload goods at delivery stops.
- Talk with dispatch and customers to confirm schedules.
- Report vehicle problems to supervisors right away.
- Follow safety rules, including wearing proper gear.
- Step in to help other drivers during busy times.
- Keep vehicles clean and tidy after each shift.
- Handle basic customer questions during deliveries.
- Attend safety briefings to stay up to date.
- Watch road conditions and adjust routes if needed.
- Collect signatures or payments for deliveries when asked.
- Pitch in with the team to keep logistics running smoothly.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent. A valid Qatar driving license or similar driving qualification is required.
Experience
