Accor is recruiting an IT Supervisor to assist the daily operations and technological infrastructure throughout our property in the MEA SPAC area. If you’re a tech-savvy expert with hotel IT experience and know how to maintain systems working smoothly, this might be the next step in your career. In this job, you’ll supervise a combination of software and hardware duties, give desktop and network support, and ensure everything from backups to software upgrades is handled effectively.

Job Title

IT Supervisor – MEA SPAC

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation and troubleshooting of all computer hardware and software systems
• Provide desktop support and assist in the configuration and installation of software applications
• Maintain telecommunications and networking systems, including cabling, servers, switches, and wireless devices
• Support and manage lifecycle operations of IT assets, ensuring correct documentation and inventory
• Monitor systems performance and perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment
• Lead IT operations in the absence of the IT Manager, including team supervision
• Handle daily backup checks, system logs, and server health inspections
• Ensure software licensing compliance and communicate with permitted vendors and providers
• Assist with configuration modifications, data migrations, and peripheral setup
  Coordinate claims and support tickets, ensuring proper follow-up with service providers
• Keep accurate logs of technical issues and resolutions for system improvement
• Promote adherence to Accor’s IT policies and hospitality technology standards
• Oversee hotel systems including Opera, Micros, Fidelio, IP Telephony, Paytrax, and more
• Maintain a high standard of professional service, aligning with Sofitel’s brand values

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

Previous IT experience within a hotel or hospitality setting strongly preferred

Skills

• Proficient in networking, server management, and hardware troubleshooting
• Knowledge of hospitality systems such as Opera, Micros, and Fidelio
• Familiar with IT security, LAN, IP telephony, and backup systems
• Comfortable with software imaging, license compliance, and corporate software deployments
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
• Ability to lead a team and resolve IT-related conflicts quickly
• Positive, professional attitude with a hands-on approach
