Responsibilities
- Take projects from first ideas to final setup.
- Sit down with clients to get their style and needs.
- Whip up mood boards, floor plans, and 3D visuals.
- Show designs to clients and make changes based on their input.
- Pick furniture, lighting, and materials that fit the vibe.
- Work with contractors and vendors to bring designs to life.
- Keep projects on budget and on time.
- Check sites to make sure the build matches the plan.
- Talk clearly with clients, teammates, and suppliers.
- Stay on top of Qatar’s building rules and design trends.
- Handle a few projects at once without dropping the ball.
- Help out with team tasks when the project boss needs it.
Requirements
Education
Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or something similar.
Experience
3-5 years as an Interior Designer with a killer portfolio.
Skills
- Great at sketching designs and showing them to clients.
- Sharp eye for colors, materials, and space layouts.
- Good talker to nail down what clients want.
- Organized to keep multiple projects on track.
- Knows AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite well.
- Works solo or with a team, no problem.
Knowledge
- Strong grasp of design basics and color theory.
- Knows Qatar’s building codes and safety rules.
- Familiar with sourcing materials in Doha.
- Gets how to manage project budgets and timelines.
- In tune with Doha’s design and construction scene.
- Understands how to make clients happy with designs.
