Industrial Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Keep production areas clean, including walls, ceilings, floors, and walkways
• Wash and sanitize equipment like belts, mixers, and packing stations
• Follow correct handling and use of cleaning chemicals
• Stick to food hygiene guidelines at all times
• Do scheduled deep cleans on production machinery
• Help maintain safe and clean work zones
• Fill out hygiene checklists and cleaning logs
• Use cleaning tools and machinery correctly
• Report any hazards or equipment problems
• Work alongside other departments when needed
• Remove waste and manage bins around the facility
• Support pest prevention efforts through good sanitation
• Make sure hygiene practices meet the required standards
• Lockout machines before starting cleaning work
• Stay consistent with cleaning tasks during each shift

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

• High school level education.
• Basic food safety or chemical handling training is helpful.

Experience

At least 1 year in a similar cleaning role, ideally in a bakery or food site

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
