Job Title

Responsibilities
- Drive a company car between customer sites, suppliers, or other corporate facilities.
- Load and unload the truck using a forklift and other equipment.
- Keep equipment and parts ready for organization and transport.
- Inspect the forklift daily and report any problems.
- Perform hand equipment, crane, and sometimes cutting or welding equipment.
- Help trade empty garbage, clean work areas, and inventory.
- Always use the correct safety equipment and follow the security instructions on the site.
- Help prepare vehicles and trailers before going out.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
- No specific education requirement beyond the ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Must be able to obtain forklift certification.
Experience
- No set number of years required, but hands-on work background is helpful.
- CDL-A with tanker endorsement is preferred, but any valid Michigan CDL is acceptable.
Skills
- Forklift driving and crane operation
- Use of tools like torches, plasma cutters, drills, air tools
- Communicating clearly with team members
- Handling and transporting vehicle parts and heavy tools
- Following safety protocols and inspecting equipment
Knowledge
- Knows how to lift and carry items safely
