Frame Installer / Fitter

Responsibilities

• Install residential and commercial aluminium and glass frames.
• Fit flyscreens, security panels, trims, and flashings.
• Measure and calculate materials accurately on-site.
• Cut, fabricate, and glaze aluminium products when needed.
• Follow job specs and drawings closely.
• Work clean and safe on every site.
• Communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Maintain tools and company gear properly.
• Support project teams with installation needs.
• Handle product deliveries and returns if required.
• Identify errors or misalignments early and correct them.
• Provide updates on job progress or site issues.
• Represent the company in a professional, respectful way.
• Follow all WHS procedures and site safety rules.
• Keep paperwork or job records up to date.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

Trade qualification preferred, not required

Certifications

• White Card (Construction Induction) – Required.
• Valid Driver’s License – Required.

Experience

Previous hands-on experience in aluminium, glass, or frame fitting – Required.

Skills

• Able to read and follow work specs.
• Confident with tools, hand cuts, and installations.
• Strong communication with customers and team leads.
• Works independently and doesn’t need constant direction.
• Accurate with tape measure, levels, and materials.
• Follows instructions and hits deadlines.

Knowledge
