Excavator Operator
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, front-end loaders, and backhoes.
- Conduct pre-operational equipment checks.
- Clean, lubricate, and refuel heavy equipment.
- Secure attachments and ensure proper installation..
- Assist with backfilling, trenching, and grading.
- Remove rubble and debris from construction zones
- Complete daily equipment logs and inspection records.
- Load and unload construction materials.
- Follow safety protocols during excavation.
- Transport equipment and tools to designated work areas.
- Direct site traffic when required.
- Assist in underground or tunnel work as assigned.
- Perform duties related to industrial and surface mining operations.
- Maintain clear communication with team leads and supervisors.
- Contribute to site organization and hazard reporting.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
- Other trades certificate or diploma
- Equivalent experience may be considered
Experience
Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of related experience

- Proficient in heavy equipment operations
