• Operate excavators, loaders, and backhoes.
• Read blueprints, plans, and maps.
• Do pre-start checks and keep equipment oiled and clean.
• Measure distances, dig to spec.
• Keep logs for work done, hours, and incidents.
• Follow MSDS guides for any materials.
• Report any damage, accidents, or safety issues.
• Help with environmental excavation tasks.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

No formal degree needed. Heavy equipment trade tickets required.

Experience

5 years or more on heavy machinery.

Skills
