Responsibilities

• Run excavators with skill to meet project plans and specs.
• Dig trenches and perform detailed excavations for urban sites.
• Keep worksites clean and safe for the whole crew.
• Check and maintain equipment to avoid breakdowns.
• Load and unload materials or gear as needed.
• Work with supervisors to hit deadlines without cutting corners.
• Stick to safety rules to protect everyone onsite.
• Talk clearly with teammates to keep projects on track.
• Read site plans and apply them accurately.
• Track equipment use and flag maintenance issues fast.
• Help set up sites and move materials when required.

Requirements

Education

• Must hold a valid Excavator ticket and White Card.
• Bonus points for a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence or GPS/final trim certs.

Experience

At least 1 year operating excavators on urban or subdivision jobs.
