Looking for an experienced EV technician in Doha. This is a full-time job. Main work includes fixing fully electric cars, doing diagnostic checks, working on battery systems, and helping with charging stations. Should know how to deal with lithium-ion batteries, EV motors, inverters, and other high-voltage parts. Experience working on electric vehicles is required. You’ll also handle general maintenance, follow safety checks, and test systems regularly. If you’ve worked with battery packs, BMS, or have some hands-on knowledge of charging units, that’s even better. Need to be already in Qatar to apply. Minimum 2 years’ experience expected.

Responsibilities
- Do diagnostic checks on electric vehicles using proper software.
- Handle battery packs, repair and test EV power systems.
- Service charging stations and look into any faults reported.
- Maintain logbooks of repairs and keep records updated.
- Follow high-voltage safety protocols at all times.
- Replace worn-out electric components when needed.
- Monitor vehicle performance after repair or testing.
- Communicate with supervisors about issues found.
- Help maintain tools and check that equipment is safe.
- Assist with workshop cleanliness and general upkeep.
- Do routine checks on motors, inverters, and BMS.
- Keep an eye out for early signs of damage or faults.
- Follow instructions from the lead tech or manager.
- Assist other workers if needed during busy hours.
- Be on-call during urgent breakdown cases (if required).
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
- Should have IVQ/NVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
- Must be certified to work on high-voltage electric vehicles.
- Extra certifications in battery or EV diagnostics is a plus.
Experience
- At least 2 years hands-on experience working with full EVs.
- Must have experience with EV systems like motors, inverters, or chargers.
- No training provided, must come ready to work.
Skills
- Know how to use scan tools and diagnostic software.
- Lithium-ion can safely handle and test the battery.
- Read and understand technical charts.
- Follow the instructions carefully.
- Can work freely unattended.
