Huhtamaki is hiring a qualified electrician to become a member of the Huhatmaki maintenance team in Otahuhu, Auckland, New Zealand. It is a permanent full-time position that offers $ 42- $ 45 per hour, and works with claims for calls in accordance with the requirement for Monday to Friday day. Rolls include quickly preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on construction units in book packaging and production environment. Applicants must have at least three years of experience in electrical work, perform a current New Zealand Electrical Registration and Practice License, and show skills in troubleshooting, error analysis and teamwork. Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance and service of electrical systems in the system.
  • Quickly and efficiently reacts to unplanned breakdowns and equipment problems.
  • Conduct miscalysis and preventive maintenance to reduce shutdown.
  • Collaborate with maintenance manager and other technicians.
  • Explain and follow electrical documents and safety processes.
  • Participate in calls and shift handover as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety rules and internal guidelines.

 

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • New Zealand Electrical Registration with a current practicing license is mandatory.
  • No other formal degree or diploma required.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Prior experience in packaging or instrumentation-based systems is a plus.

Skills

  • Electrical diagnostics and root cause analysis.
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork.
