Job Title

Driver – Rear Lift (Casual)

Responsibilities

  • Drive a rear lift truck to collect containers from drop-off points around Ballarat.
  • Load and unload returned containers, sorting for recycling.
  • Transport materials to nominated facilities, ensuring safe and efficient runs.
  • Comply with fatigue management rules, logging hours accurately.
  • Maintain the vehicle with daily pre-start checks and cleaning.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service at collection sites.
  • Report any issues, like a stuck lift, to supervisors promptly.
  • Work 2 days per week, flexible for weekends if needed.
  • Pitch in on team efforts for smooth operations.
  • Follow all safety protocols to protect yourself and others.

Requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

HR license with experience; waste management or driving background is a plus.
