Responsibilities

• Push dirt with dozers to shape pit floors and build bunds for mining work.
• Give equipment a once-over daily to make sure it’s ready to roll.
• Take orders from the mining boss to hit production targets.
• Keep pit floors level and stick to design plans.
• Cut down on ore dilution to keep the output clean.
• Maintain haul roads, stockpiles, and dumps for smooth site flow.
• Move material as told to prep roads and work areas.
• Stick to Thiess’ safety rules and wear proper gear like hard hats.
• Run pre-start checks to catch problems early.
• Keep the site clean with top-notch housekeeping.
• Scribble down clear notes on dozer use and fixes.
• Work well with the crew to keep things moving.
• Throw out ideas to make the pit safer or faster.
• Grind through a 2:1 roster, including night shifts, without losing focus.

Requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid dozer tickets (SOA/VOC) are a must.

Experience
