The Puhinui Homes Trust
If you’re in Auckland and open to working full-time, we’re looking for someone to support adults with disabilities who live in shared homes. It’s about helping them with the little things — making meals, getting ready in the morning, maybe heading out to appointments or social activities — and being someone they can count on. Some shifts run overnight or fall on weekends, so flexibility helps. You’ll be working with a small group of others who really care about the people they support. If you’ve done this sort of thing before, like aged care or personal support, that’s great — but if you’re kind, dependable, and willing to learn, that’s just as important.
About The Puhinui Homes Trust
The Puhinui Homes Trust is a locally based, community-focused organisation supporting people with disabilities in their homes. They’re not a big chain — more like a small group that values trust, teamwork, and doing what’s right for each person. They’ve got homes across Auckland and offer a supportive work environment, along with training towards NZQA qualifications if you’re keen to grow. Most staff say they stay because of the team and the feeling that the work really matters.
