Alfanar’s got an opening for a product designer role in Riyadh. Full-time, in-office. Not remote. This job’s mostly hands-on, mix of digital design and working with prototypes. You’ll be expected to work on new product ideas, make the 3D models, create drawings, test them, and see how things fit when it gets made. Need someone who’s done this before, ideally in electrical or manufacturing setups. SAP or CAD software background is useful. Also someone who knows how to write things down properly project notes, test reports, all of that. You’ll move between your desk and the trial assembly floor. Not just sitting at a screen all day.

Responsibilities

• Sketch and design parts or full products.
• Build 3D files and engineering drawings.
• Check how easy the product is to make (mold or die checks).
• Help during trial builds and test runs.
• Work with production line when first samples are built.
• Track changes, update files, and store properly.
• Collect test samples and manage them.
• Prepare simple product demos or leaflets if needed.
• Join team discussions on how to improve the part.
• Stay aligned with safety and design procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

Diploma or degree in design, product engineering, or a technical area.

Experience

2 to 4 years in product design or something close. Ideally in manufacturing, not only office-based work.

Skills

• Knows 3D and 2D drawing tools.
• Writes down test and trial steps clearly.
• Manages tasks without needing reminders.
• Understands team timelines.
• Can spot errors early.
• Comfortable doing short trial runs.

Knowledge

• SAP or ECTR experience is good to have.
• Knows mold and die layout basics.
• Knows how to keep design storage organized.
• Has some idea about packaging and product displays.
• Knows how to prepare things for in-house manufacturing.
• Understands product lifecycle tracking.
