Responsibilities
- Milk dairy cows using standard procedures and equipment
- Handle and care for livestock, especially during calving periods
- Monitor animal health and report concerns promptly
- Feed and water animals as part of daily routines
- Clean barns, pens, and milking stations regularly
- Detect signs of illness or distress in livestock
- Treat livestock under supervision or according to instruction
- Assist with monitoring and managing the calving process
- Operate, maintain, and clean farm machinery
- Record and track basic farm data when required
- Follow biosecurity and farm safety procedures
- Perform general maintenance and repair around the farm
