Responsibilities
- Milk cows twice a day in the dairy shed, keeping things running smoothly.
- Look after calves, feeding and rearing them to keep them healthy.
- Hop on a tractor to feed stock or move hay around the paddocks.
- Fix fences or patch up farm bits and pieces as needed.
- Ride motorbikes or drive tractors and small gear for daily chores.
- Keep an eye on the herd, spotting any sick cows or issues early.
- Clean the dairy shed to meet hygiene and milk quality rules.
- Help with general farm jobs, from indoor tasks to outdoor grunt work.
- Check and maintain machinery to avoid breakdowns.
- Cart feed or supplies across the farm as part of the daily grind.
- Work with the farm crew to hit milking and feeding schedules.
- Clear debris or tidy up paddocks to keep the place in order.
- Follow safety rules to keep everyone and the animals safe.
- Report any gear or herd problems to the farm manager quickly and smartly.

Requirements
Education

Experience
- Proven experience milking cows (essential).
