Responsibilities

• Measure and cut timber for framing and floors.
• Put together cladding, roof frames, and wood joints.

• Work off basic drawings or plans.

• Fix things when needed on older builds.
• Help keep the site clean and safe.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

• Certificate III in Carpentry or anything equal.
• White Card needed — no way around that.

Experience

• 3 years or more working in carpentry.
• Site work, framing, and finishing are must-haves.
• No apprenticeship-level applicants this time.

Skills

• Can read site plans without guessing.
• Knows how to work fast but not sloppy.
• Safe with all major tools.
• Can spot problems and sort them.
• Works well alone or with a crew.

Knowledge

• Understands Aussie site rules and codes.
• Knows how a build should come together from ground up.
