Transdev Australia & New Zealand is looking for a Bus Driver – MD to work full-time or part-time in Perth, Western Australia. The job pays up to AUD 100,000 a year, depending on experience, with extra for overtime and bonuses. Drivers will carry passengers on set routes, getting kids to school and folks to events on time. Candidates need a valid Australian C-A driver’s license (or higher) with no more than 4 demerit points and a knack for customer service. Drivers must be ready to get an HR license and a Working with Children Check. This role is for safe drivers who can work at depots in East Perth, O’Connor, Rockingham, or Mandurah.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses on routes to get passengers where they need to go.
• Make sure school kids and event-goers arrive on time.
• Be friendly and helpful with passengers every day.
• Check buses for safety issues and tell depot managers about problems.
• Stick to traffic laws and Transdev’s safety rules.
• Answer passenger questions or sort out issues politely.
• Log routes, times, and any incidents accurately.
• Keep buses clean and comfortable for riders.
• Work different shifts, like straight, split, or relief shifts.
• Help with transport for special events when needed.
• Complete training to get an HR license if asked.
• Follow rules for the Working with Children Check.
• Do small bus upkeep tasks, like cleaning or refueling.
• Report delays or route issues to the depot boss fast.
• Take on extra jobs when managers need help.

Requirements

Education

No formal education needed; high school diploma is a plus.

Experience

1-2 years driving buses or working with customers, ideally in transport.

Skills

• Great at customer service to make passengers feel welcome.
• Good at sticking to schedules to keep routes on time.
• Clear talker with riders and depot staff.
• Stays calm when things get busy or stressful.
• Safe driver with a focus on protecting passengers.
