Fairfax County Public Schools
Looking for a change from the usual 9-to-5? Here’s a steady job where you’re on the move but part of a tight team. Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia is hiring Bus Driver Floaters. This is a full-time, on-site role and runs on a 194-day schedule. The job? You’ll drive different school routes depending on daily needs, helping kids get to and from school safely. You’ll need to be 19 or older, with a clean driving history and a valid U.S. driver’s license. If you don’t already have a CDL-B with passenger and school bus endorsements, you can earn one through the school district’s paid training program. CPR and first aid certification are required too — but training can help you get there. This job pays biweekly and includes full training, health checks, and safety screenings.
