Responsibilities

• Drive buses safely on assigned routes and schedules.
• Provide friendly, professional service to passengers.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report vehicle faults or issues to depot supervisors promptly.
• Manage passenger inquiries and ensure a smooth journey.
• Handle ticketing and fare collection accurately.
• Follow NSW traffic and transport safety regulations.
• Work split shifts to cover peak morning and afternoon routes.
• Operate buses during weekends or public holidays as needed.
• Maintain a clean and tidy bus interior daily.
• Assist with school and charter service runs.
• Complete driving logs and paperwork accurately.
• Support depot staff during busy periods or special events.
• Stay updated on route changes and service updates.
• Promote a safe and welcoming environment for passengers.

Requirements

Education

• Medium Rigid or above driver’s license required.
• NSW Driver Authority desirable.

Experience

1–2 years in heavy vehicle or bus driving preferred.

Skills

• Safe and confident bus driving in busy areas.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage split shifts and flexible hours.
