Boilermaker Welder
Responsibilities
- Construction and repair using different welding techniques.
- Conduct welding and construction equipment according to industrial and safety standards.
- Read, interpret and work from technical images and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to complete the tasks in time.
- Make sure all activities are in accordance with Enermech’s health, safety and environmental standards.
- Participate in regular security checks and maintain an exact job record.
- Support the workshop and welding operations on site as needed.
- Prevention of problems and apply practical solutions in the area.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Engineering Trade Certificate is required.
Experience
- Previous welding/boilermaking experience required (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Must be able to pass weld tests in MMAW and/or GTAW techniques.
Skills
- Strong ability to explain technical images.
- Excellent welding techniques and mechanical precision.
- Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Effective communication and team work skills.
- Problem solving ability in real -time work environment.
- Creamer for safety and attention on expansion. The ability to interpret technical images.
Knowledge
- Understanding workshop and field welding operations.
- Knowledge of safety documentation and compliance practices.
- Competence in the use of welding equipment and equipment.
- Welding code and knowledge of standards.
- Knowledge of working in limited places and in heights.
- Insight into structural materials and methods.
Licenses and Tickets
- White card.
- Confined space entry ticket (within the last 2 years).
- Working at heights ticket (within the last 2 years).
- Rigging or dogging ticket (preferred).
- Able to pass a 3-site medical assessment.
