Mandarin Oriental
There’s an opening for a Bell Captain over at Mandarin Oriental in Taipei. It’s a full-time position, and it’s all on-site. So if you’re someone who’s got experience in hospitality — and especially if you’ve worked in a high-end hotel before — this might be worth a look. The role is pretty hands-on. You’ll be leading the bell team, helping out with guest arrivals, making sure the lobby stays smooth and organized, and taking care of luggage handling. Some long shifts can come up, especially during peak check-in or check-out hours, so being okay with staying on your feet for a while is important. Mandarin-speaking is useful, but not a must. What matters most is that you can handle things calmly, show good leadership, and know your way around guest-facing service.
About Mandarin Oriental
Mandarin Oriental is a pretty big name in the luxury hotel world. The group has locations all over — across Asia, Europe, and the Americas — and every one of their hotels has its own vibe while still keeping the same high standards. The Taipei property is no different. They’re known for blending great service with a strong sense of local culture. The company’s also a part of the Jardine Matheson Group and has been steadily growing. If you’re into places that take service seriously and also give room to grow professionally, Mandarin Oriental’s got that reputation.
